The Kasbah Moulay Ismail is an impressive historical monument dating back to the 17th century, built by Sultan Moulay Ismail. This fortified complex covers a vast area and houses several palaces, gardens, reservoirs, and ramparts. The architecture of the kasbah combines traditional Moroccan and Andalusian elements, with horseshoe arches, colorful zellige tiles, and carved stucco. Among the notable sites are the Mausoleum of Moulay Ismail and the Heri es-Souani, a complex of granaries and public baths. This place is a must-see for history and architecture enthusiasts.
