Sidi Boughaba
A few miles north of Kenitra, the Sidi Boughaba biological reserve is a true haven of peace for nature lovers. Classified as a Ramsar site, it is home to a natural lake bordered by a forest of pine and oak trees, forming a remarkable ecosystem on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
It is a prime location for bird watching: more than 200 species have been recorded there, including flamingos, herons, coots, and rare migratory species. The reserve also offers well-maintained walking trails, ideal for hiking, mountain biking, or simply relaxing outdoors.
Combining wild landscapes, rich biodiversity, and tranquility, Sidi Boughaba is one of the ecological gems of the Rabat-Salé-Kénitra region.
